Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for real tools and real results.
Types of CBT Therapy We Offer
We offer individual therapy sessions for clients ages 17 and older, in Orlando and online. We offer FREE 15 minute consultations to ensure one of our therapists is a good fit before scheduling your appointment. If we don’t have a therapist who fits your needs, we will gladly offer you a referral for another provider who may be better suited to help.
Anxiety Treatment
Because anxiety hijacks our body’s natural survival systems, you may be struggling with obsessive worry and uncomfortable physical symptoms - all of which can give you the urge to just avoid. If you’ve been struggling with anxiety for a while, you’ve probably tried avoiding your triggers, taking control over certain aspects of your life, or using alcohol or other drugs to dull your body’s reactions. While these strategies may work short-term, they usually have unintended consequences on your social life and relationships, work or school performance, or overall happiness. We offer CBT Therapy that can equip you with specific tools to take back control of your life. CBT includes a step-by-step process you can follow to find self-compassion, let go of unhealthy coping mechanisms, and restore your self of calm and safety.
Depression Treatment
Depression robs you of all energy and motivation, leaving you feeling tired and lifeless. At its worst, we don’t even feel sad anymore, just numb and hollow, like a shell of a person. Most people with depression often find themselves using sleep, alcohol, or digital distractions to pass the time, hoping the darkness will eventually lift. These strategies may offer brief escapes, but they ultimately leave you stuck in the pit of depression. Our CBT therapists are skilled in supporting clients with even the most severe depression to regain motivation and reawaken with gentle progress.
Trauma Therapy
Trauma can be sudden and intense, such as a car accident or a sexual assault, or it can be slow and hard to put your finger on, such as childhood emotional neglect or psychological abuse from your partner. Both types leave a mark, which is why trauma related symptoms are considered a psychological injury, NOT a mental health disorder. Many people who experience trauma attempt to move on quickly and pretend it never happened, and may struggle to even define what they experienced as “bad enough” to call it trauma. If you’ve tried to move past an experience that seems to still be affecting you, we can help. Our trauma therapists specialize in providing clients the tools and support to sort through what happened to you, how your body and mind have reacted to the experience, and techniques for recovery.
